Investments in the repair of the engine of a 130-ton mining dump truck of the BELAZ FERRUM dump truck amounted to over UAH 3 million. This was reported on page Metinvest mining and metallurgical holding on Facebook.
To update the equipment of the dump truck, the repair teams of GTZ No. 1 of SevGOK took a month of painstaking work.
During the repair, the specialists replaced all the mechanisms of the internal combustion engine, repaired the steering, installed new front suspensions, "shod" the dump truck with new tires. And to make the car look presentable, the cab was also painted.
The heavy-duty vehicle has already entered the quarry for running-in. After 100 hours, after changing the oil and filters, it will operate at full capacity, Metinvest said.
