Eurasian Commission launched an investigation into the supply of Chinese spring steel

The Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has started anti-dumping investigation in relation to leaf springs and sheet steel for their production originating from the People's Republic of China (PRC). The reason for starting the investigation was the statement of the Chusovoy Metallurgical Plant (CMP), which is part of OMK, about dumping, leading to losses.

ChMP said in its statement that the dumping margin for the supply of leaf springs from China exceeded the minimum allowable rate by 58.5 percent.

Investigation started on September 2, all interested parties are given 60 days to submit comments and documents related to the subject of the investigation.
