The new equipment will allow processing up to 3,600 tons of wire per year, depending on the grade.

The equipment is installed in the alloy wire workshop No. 11, where the necessary work has been carried out to prepare the foundation and carry out engineering communications. Installation supervision and commissioning are performed by a representative of the manufacturer together with specialists from BMK (part of the Mechel Group).
The line will be serviced by one lugger per shift. Its launch is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
