Inspection control was carried out on steel hoisting ropes manufactured at BMK both according to the state standard and according to the technical specifications of its own design.
Some of them are twisted using plastically compressed strands. Such ropes have improved performance characteristics that extend their service life. Circular compression increases the resistance of the wires in the strands to abrasion and ensures a more uniform load distribution. This, in turn, reduces wear and tear on the equipment. In 2024-2025, more than 2,300 tons of hoisting ropes were shipped to consumers.
The inspection was carried out by specialists of the certification body "Diagnostics". The experts analyzed the production process, visited the rope workshops and the control testing department, got acquainted with the documentation on equipment repairs and metrological support, assessed the level of professional training and qualifications of the staff. They were also present during the selection of samples, which were then successfully tested at an independent accredited laboratory.
