The large-scale repair of the giant complex in the first sheet-rolling workshop was completed in just eight days.

268 specialists of the plant and contractors were involved in the repairs. Their attention was focused on the key points identified during the monitoring of the equipment: six crane beams, roller frame No. 22, roller rollers on the roughing crate, bed frames, spindles, wear-resistant inserts on the crate frames.
In the same list with them are the chains of shleppers (a shlepper is a mechanism of rolling mills for moving rolled metal in the transverse direction. Editor's note), shears of the cutting area, foundations under the leaf-laying machines, tipping machines and the schlepper gearbox.

In parallel, many electric motors, gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders were repaired and dozens of meters of cable were replaced.
To speed up the process, the method of extended assembly was used: a complex unit was assembled in the company's divisions, where there are all the conditions for this, and then brought ready-made to the installation site.
