the Interagency Commission for international trade of Ukraine has introduced anti-dumping measures against imports of certain types of ropes and cables originating in the Russian Federation.

Ukraine imposed a 50 percent duty on Russian steel cables and ropes

February 21, 2020, the Interdepartmental Commission for international trade of Ukraine in the antidumping investigation concerning imports to Ukraine of certain types of cables and ropes took the decision № AD-438/2020/4411-03, according to which 5 years, introduced anti-dumping duty in the amount of 50,09% for all Russian producers.

anti-Dumping duty applies to steel screw wires, ropes, uncoated or galvanized coating with the greatest cross-sectional dimension exceeding 3 mm (excluding twisted wires, ropes from corrosion resistant (stainless) steel) originating from the Russian Federation (classified under HS codes of Ukraine: 7312 10 61 00, 7312 10 65 00, 7312 10 81 00 7312 10 83 00, 7312 10 85 00, 7312 10 89 00, 7312 10 98 00).

the Message on the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission for international trade of Ukraine published in the newspaper "Governmental courier" dated February 25, 2020 No. 36 (6650). The decision comes into force 30 days from the date of publication.
