In AVTOVAZ hope the upward trend of car sales in the second half of 2020, but I think that at the end of the year the decline will be 20-25%. This was stated by Executive Vice-President of AVTOVAZ sales and marketing, Olivier mornas.
"We note the increase in buying activity since the beginning of June, and rising orders for cars from our partners and customers in July and August. Of course, very positive for recovery of the market impact advanced measures of state support, as well as the removal of some epidemiological constraints in the regions. We hope that the market will show an upward trend until the end of 2020, but in annual terms it will still lose 20-25%," said Morne.
From January to June were sold in Russia 140 623 cars and light commercial car LADA (8027 of them SUVs Niva). Sales in June totaled 30 248 cars, which is only slightly below the results 2019.
