Yandex's advertising revenue increased by 6% year-on-year to RUB 33.2 billion, the company's advertising revenue from its own sites increased by 12% to RUB 28 billion.
The share of non-advertising income of the company amounted to 43% of all revenue. The Taxi segment (which combines Yandex.Taxi and food tech projects) has the largest contribution among non-advertising revenues, accounting for 31% of Yandex's total revenue. The segment's consolidated revenue increased by 58% to RUB 18.6 billion. The number of trips in the Yandex.Taxi service increased by 24%. The segment's adjusted EBITDA amounted to RUB 1.74 billion. Yandex.Drive, which is accounted for within the segment, for the first time showed profit on adjusted EBITDA: it amounted to RUB 71 million.
