In early October, representatives of the Akkuyu NPP carried out another acceptance of blanks for the nuclear power plant under construction in Turkey. 13 items for the steam generator and the main circulation pumping unit of Unit 4 of the Akkuyu NPP were delivered to the customer.
Acceptance of products manufactured at EMSS took place directly at the industrial site of the enterprise with the participation of the inspector of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency of the Republic of Turkey (ANR, NDK) Mustafa Chinar.
Within four days, a representative of the agency, together with specialists from Energmashspetsstal, checked the results of the ultrasonic examination of the blanks, carried out visual and measuring control of the products, checked the preservation and packaging of the products.
The results of acceptance tests have confirmed the complete compliance of the blanks with the customer's requirements. Based on the results of the acceptance inspection, a set of documents was issued confirming the quality of the blanks and the completion of their manufacture, which allows the products to be shipped to the customer.
Shipment of finished products is scheduled for October-November. The delivery will include covers, pipes and spacers. The total weight of the workpieces is 61 tons. Work on the contract continues. The next visit of representatives of the Akkuyu NPP to Ukraine is scheduled for November.
