PJSC Energomashspetsstal completed acceptance tests of blanks for the third power unit of the Akkuyu NPP. In accordance with the quality plans, 4 cones and 4 discs were delivered to the customer for the parts of the main circulation pump of Unit 3 of the Turkish NPP.
Acceptance of products took place from 1 to 4 June at the site of PJSC Energomashspetsstal. The work was carried out under the constant control of representatives of the customer - the Nuclear Regulatory Agency of the Republic of Turkey (ANR).
During the inspection, the experts checked the results of ultrasonic examination of the workpieces, carried out visual and measurement control of the products, and checked the preservation of the workpieces. As a result, documents were signed confirming the quality of 8 blanks for the main circulation pump of Unit 3 of the Akkuyu NPP. Accepted products are prepared for shipment to the customer. The next acceptance of products for Turkish nuclear power plants is scheduled for the second half of June 2021.
Let us remind you that in 2020 Energomashspetsstal PJSC successfully passed the inspection of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency of the Republic of Turkey (ANR), which renewed the certificate of the manufacturer of blanks for the equipment of the Akkuyu NPP (Turkey). The updated certificate No. TR-IMO-001 was issued by PJSC Energomashspetsstal on December 31, 2020 for a period of five years and is valid from January 11, 2021 to January 11, 2026.
