At a meeting of the government of Ukraine, a draft resolution prepared by the State Energy Efficiency Committee was approved, designed to bring a number of resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine into line with the Law "On Energy Efficiency".
In particular, five resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which concerned the state expertise on energy saving at the request of the old, already inactive law "On Energy Saving" of 1994, were declared invalid.
Earlier, passing the state examination on energy saving was paid and mandatory during activities related to the extraction, production and consumption of fuel and energy resources in order to receive benefits, lending to energy efficiency measures and other areas.
“The decision taken by the government is not only the implementation of the new law “On Energy Efficiency”, but also a contribution to the deregulation and simplification of the conditions for doing business in Ukraine,” the State Energy Efficiency noted.
