As follows from the updated data of the Ukrmetallurgprom association, Nvar's production volumes of pipe products amounted to 0.091 million tons, or 168.2% compared to the same month last year.
In addition, the association clarified that in January 2022, the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine manufactured:
- sinter - 2.79 million tons (101.3% compared to January 2021);
- gross coke (6% wet) - 0.81 million tons (95.5%);
- cast iron - 1.77 million tons (98.2%);
- steel - 1.85 million tons (100.7%);
- rolled products - 1.67 million tons (100.6%);
“As of February 11, 2022, out of the main operating production facilities, 17 out of 21 blast furnaces, 7 out of 8 open-hearth furnaces, 13 out of 16 converters, 5 out of 15 electric furnaces and 16 out of 17 continuous casting machines were in operation”, - the message says.
Exports of iron ore in January 2022 amounted to 3.85 million tons (104.3% compared to January 2021). Export of scrap metal in January 2022 amounted to 6 thousand tons (31.6% compared to January 2021).
