As a result of hostilities in Ukraine, up to 30% of the entire infrastructure was damaged or destroyed. The cumulative damage exceeds 100 billion US dollars. This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov in an interview with Reuters.
According to the minister, more than 300 bridges on national highways and over 8,000 km of roads were damaged during the Ukrainian-Russian conflict. Dozens of railway bridges were also blown up.
A. Kubrakov added that it would take at least two years to restore the entire destroyed infrastructure.
