Jokes against the former head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva can and will be perceived by foreign investors as confirmation of ties between oligarchs and the government, warned the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine Tymofiy Mylovanov on his Facebook page.
He explained that the studio "95 Kvartal" abroad is associated with the country's authorities, and Gontareva is known as an outstanding reformer.
“Most outside investors perceive Gontareva as an outstanding reformer. Under her leadership, the NBU switched to flexible exchange rate formation and inflation targeting. These are technical terms that describe how the NBU makes decisions today. The new type of decision-making allowed, according to experts and investors (and I agree), to ensure low inflation and stability of the exchange rate today. At the same time, according to outside observers, Gontareva is under pressure from Kolomoisky for decisions on Privatbank. They also do not understand how independent the current government is from Kolomoisky and other oligarchs, ”T. Milovanov wrote.
“Therefore, the number 95 of the quarter about Gontareva directly affects the investment climate in Ukraine and this influence is negative,” the Head of the Ministry of Economic Development summed up.
On Sunday T .Milovanov told that, after returning from a trip to the United States, he realized that a foreign investor is most concerned with 4 questions in Ukraine: is the government independent; whether judicial reform will take place; whether the new government will fight with careless bankers; are the rules the same for everyone.
Earlier, the Minister of Culture Vladimir Borodyansky on his Facebook page personally apologized to Valeria Gontareva.
"Excuse me, Valeria Alekseevna, I am ashamed of the National Honored Academic Ukrainian Folk Choir of Ukraine named after Grigory Verevka," wrote Borodyansky.
Valeria Gontareva herself commented on the number of the studio "95 quarter" about the arson of her house:
“It's a shame !!! To scoff at human grief is impossible to imagine in a civilized society ... There has long been no doubt about the cynicism of the 95th Quarter. But the participation of the national choir in this is already a shame for the whole country, "the former head of the NBU said.
