ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih continues to invest in labor protection and renew its fleet of ambulances to provide quality and timely assistance to its employees. A new emergency medical vehicle based on Volkswagen Kasten was purchased for UAH 2 million. This "ambulance" became the fourth specialized car, which came to the disposal of the medical center of the enterprise over the past few years.
The new ambulance is equipped with modern equipment for carrying out therapeutic measures by the paramedic team, transporting and monitoring the condition of patients before hospitalization.
The machine is equipped with a defibrillator, an electrocardiograph, a pulse oximeter, a non-contact thermometer, glucometers, a set of vacuum tires and other necessary equipment. They are indispensable in cases where you need to quickly determine the patient's condition and make a preliminary diagnosis.
The car interior is designed in such a way that the stay of both patients and medical staff in it is as safe and comfortable as possible. There are comfortable removable stretchers, climate control, chairs for doctors and an attendant, a folding table, furniture with open and closed shelves to accommodate medical equipment and drugs. The ambulance is also equipped with a portable radio for communication between the paramedic and the driver.
