In 2019, the Ukrainian industry of cloud computing and data centers (DPC) will exceed $ 36 million, an increase compared to the previous year by about a quarter. This is evidenced by expert estimates market research company IDC, reports GP "dzi".
In the structure of income of this industry is dominated by a segment of the "cloud" provided by the model of "infrastructure as a service" (IaaS) and "platform as a service" (PaaS) - more than $ 23 million. Of which the lion's share (more than 16 million dollars) is a public IaaS / PaaS. At the same time, the DPC is stagnating and this year revenues will decline by 0.5% - up to $ 13 million.
Undisputed leaders in the category of public cloud computing (IaaS / PaaS), as in previous years, such international powerhouses as Amazon and Microsoft. Ukrainian company De Novo closes the top three.
development Director at data center company Tet Maris Spargo noted that in Ukraine for the last year or two actively growing segment of hybrid - public and private "clouds". In Europe, this service category already generates about 60% of the revenues of the entire industry. In Ukraine this figure is lower by about two times. But, he said, demonstrates the high dynamics of growth.
