In January-September 2019 amount of capital investment in metallurgical production and production of finished metal products in Ukraine increased by 34.1% compared to the corresponding period last year - to 20.43 billion. This is evidenced by data the State statistics service.
However, it should be noted that the rate of growth of volumes of capital investments into metallurgy the third quarter began to decline.
In the July-August capital investment in metallurgy grew by only 29.5 per cent compared to the corresponding period in 2018. In the first quarter of 2019 they increased by 34.5%, while the second - by 42%.
However, the first three quarters of metallurgy took second place by volumes of assimilated capital investments among all sectors of the processing industry.
