Within the framework of the MODUS digital transformation program, DTEK Group has started to implement the Data Driven Decision Making (DDDM) strategy. In the fall of 2021, the deployment of a new infrastructure for collecting, processing and working with data based on technologies from SAP, Microsoft and Amazon began, namely SAP HANA SQL Data Warehousing, SAP Data Services, SAP Data Intelligence, MS Power BI and AWS.

With this strategy implemented, DTEK will expand its current investments in big data and predictive analytics to digitalize and integrate innovation into both internal business flows and external customer-focused initiatives.

Commenting on the DDDM strategy, Dmitry Osyka, CIO of DTEK, said: “Today, enterprises need to invest in innovative digital tools to equip and empower their employees, to make decisions and increase productivity. After all, it is more valuable that employees spend less time preparing data for reports, and more time analyzing them. Transformation into a data-driven organization is DTEK's ambitious strategy, which has already begun to turn into reality. Our goal is to transform the Group's businesses into digital in the 2025+ horizon. ”

Practical data is what makes the "magic", - says Valentin Vintu, head of data management at DTEK. “The data must flow through the analytics value chain, which we define as“ data collection - analysis - decisions - action - value ”. However, before data can have an impact on an enterprise, it must create a data-driven culture. ”
