"Ukreximbank" declared the groundlessness of the charges of the Prosecutor against the "Bogdan motors"

the General Prosecutor's office suspects in the corruption of the signatories of the agreement on restructuring the debts of the concern Bogdan motors to the state Ukreximbank in the amount of UAH 1.3 billion, which was concluded in 2018.

State "Ukreksimbank" in the interests of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine filed a lawsuit against "Bogdan motors" in the illegality of the contract of novation, called the charges baseless. This was stated by the advocates of the Bank at the hearing on 22 January this year, told in a press-service of the automobile corporations, Oleg Gladkovsky.

Bank disputes the validity of the claim of the GPU and asks the court to leave the case without consideration, as it believes that the interests of the Bank and the state are not violated, and the contract of novation concluded lawfully and legally, the report said.

Recall that in early January of this year, "Automobile company "Bogdan motors" obradovala the claim of the Prosecutor General about the illegality of a contract of novation between the company and state "Ukreximbank". The company Prosecutor called absolutely groundless and farfetched. In "Bogdan motors" also noted that will prove the validity and legality of contracts concluded by all possible means.

the Case against "Bogdan motors" is the National anti-corruption Bureau. Employees of Ukreximbank has qualified under part 2 St. 364 Criminal code (abuse of office).

Ukreximbank was trying to recover from the "Bogdan" property to repay the loan issued to the company in 2009. However, in 2018, the parties agreed to a 13-year debt restructuring. Under the new agreement, the company undertook to repay the loan until 25 December 2031. In the first half of the year, the rate was less than 1%, and in 2025 should reach 17,46% per annum.
