Zaporizhia Ferroalloy plant (ZFP) in January-February of the current year has reduced the output of 38.5% compared to the same period last year to 27.59 thousand tons.
according to the Agency "Interfax-Ukraine" in the Ukrainian Association of ferroalloys manufacturers (Ukrainian Academy of pharmacy) on Thursday, for the first two months of the year reduced production of silicomanganese at 41.4%, is to 13.43 thousand tons of ferrosilicon - by 51.5%, to 6.94 thousand tons, but increased its forecast of 7.4%, to 6.80 tons.
the Company also reduced the production of manganese metal by 67.9% to 0,42 thousand tons. As reported, the ZZF in 2019 increased production by 1.9% compared to the 2018 year - to 250,91 thousand tons.
last year, the plant increased its production of silicomanganese by 17.2% to 145,21 thousand tons, but reduced ferrosilicon - by 17.1%, to 62,56 thousand tons, ferromanganese - by 5.9%, to 37 thousand tons. The company reduced production of manganese metal by 17.7% to 6,14 kt.
ZZF is one of three Ukrainian producers of these products. Domestic market share in its supply is 30-35%. Products are exported to the CIS, EU, Asia, Africa.
