Dneprovsky metallurgical combine (DMK) in April 2020 issued 222 226 tons of commercial steel products, having worked in the framework of operational objectives. This informs planning and economic management of the plant.
compared with the corresponding period last year, the actual production of commercial steel products for April and four months 2020 dropped: 24 521 ton, or 9.9% by the end of April; 220 306 tons, or 3.0% in the first four months.
From the beginning of 2020 compared to the same period last year, the DMK has increased the production of sinter by 12.2% to 1 372 913 tons, the production of pig iron remained at the level of last year - 786 862 tons. Steel output decreased by 4.1% to 844 097 tonnes. Rolled products output increased by 3% - up to 258 820 tons.
In April, the plant shipped to the customer 222 247 tons of commercial steel products, which is 4.2% or 8 969 tons more shipments planned for the month. Compared to April of last year, shipments fell by 9.0%, or 22 067 tons.
Since the beginning of the year, DMK sent to consumers 872 326 tonnes of steel products (+ 7.4%, or 60 022 tons of plan Jan - APR). This is 2.4% less than for the corresponding period in 2019.
