"ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" has completed the overhaul of casting machine No. 4 blast furnace shop № 1, which lasted from 18 may to 17 June. After the upgrade the machine's performance and reliability of its work has increased significantly. The company sent the repair is nearly 20 million.
With the filling machine in the blast furnace production of commodity cast iron is poured. It cools, becomes a prefabricated and shipped to consumers. In the framework of the overhaul carried out a comprehensive upgrade of the entire complex machine. It replaced the chain and rolling mills conveyor rollers and its main design as well as beams, cones machine, control panels. Quite extensive was the repair of creasing hoist and gear trolley creasing. The gearbox plays an important role in the casting process, because it raises the ladle for pouring iron. Completely replaced and the cooling system of the machine, that is updated by a network of pipelines with cold water, which allow to maintain the required temperature during operation of the unit.
in addition, the replaced pipe cable route, which pass the electric cables to power the motors and the various mechanisms of the machine. Installed more than 200 meters of cable and wire products. Installed a new lighting system, ballasts to turn on and off the motors.

- the fourth Performance of the filler is 1 200 tons of iron per day. The overhaul of this metallurgical plant has achieved uninterrupted, and therefore a stable operation, we excluded emergency downtime that happened before the overhaul. In the first blast furnace there are three bottling machines: Nos. 2, 3 and 4. The third was overhauled last year, now rebuilt fourth, and in the future, during the repair of blast furnace No. 7, we plan to repair and the second filling machine, gradually continuing the program of modernization of the enterprise.
