According to the head of projects and programs of the blast furnace shop Pavel Makhovsky, the following works will be performed during the overhaul: replacement of the furnace charging device; repair of metal structures of air heaters block, restoration of refractory lining of blast furnace shaft by manual shotcreting method; repair of metal structures of the bunker overpass, metal structures and equipment of the bunker room, foundry yards and dust collector; revision of the electrical equipment of the unit.
The lighting systems for the working areas of the blast furnace complex will also be restored.
"Overhaul will increase the overhaul period and improve the reliability of the blast furnace during its operation," - noted at the enterprise.
The contractors of Industrial Technologies of Ukraine LLC were involved in the main repair work. The previous overhaul of the DP-1M was carried out in 2018.
