Since the beginning of 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia has held 27 successful auctions in the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sales for the sale of ferrous scrap.
As a result of these auctions, the company managed to sell 136.9 thousand tons of ferrous scrap worth 1 billion hryvnia.
The company noted that on March 9-11, 2021, 16 auctions were held at once for the sale of scrap metal with a total amount of 85.6 thousand tons for the amount of 569.1 million hryvnia, which exceeded the results of the January auction.
Recall that in January 2021 Ukrzaliznytsia also held successful auctions for the sale of scrap metal at competitive prices.
In 2020, Ukrzaliznytsia sold 145 thousand tons of ferrous scrap for a total of UAH 567 million through the ProZorro system.
