April 16, 2021 at 05:15 local time in the blast-furnace shop of Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant OJSC during repair work on the air heater No. 3 of the DP-1M blast furnace, an installer of the contractor LLC Industrial Technologies of Ukraine was injured when falling from a height.
According to the press service of the DMK, the worker received an open craniocerebral injury, and the victim died on the way to the hospital.
The administration of the enterprise expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
The incident is being investigated.
