To maintain the fleet of commuter trains in good condition in the depot conditions, Ukrzaliznytsia constantly carries out work on diagnostics, maintenance and repair of rolling stock. So, since the beginning of the year, more than 1.6 thousand sections of electric trains and 92 diesel trains have been restored by current repairs.
During 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to carry out overhaul repairs of 40 sections of electric trains in the conditions of the plant, and update 11 more sections with major overhauls. In the conditions of the depot, it is envisaged to carry out overhaul of 25 sections of electric trains and 4 diesel trains. Current repairs will be carried out on 5040 sections of electric trains and 292 diesel trains.
Let us remind you that recently Ukrzaliznytsia completed the overhaul and refurbishment of another electric train equipped with special holders for transporting bicycles. The train will run along the service routes of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia".
