Ukrzaliznytsia continues to increase the performance of the cargo vertical. So, in May, the turnover of freight cars improved by 20.5% compared to the same period of the pre-crisis 2019, and is 7.11 days.
The average daily loading in the last month of spring amounted to 731.9 thousand tons, which is practically at the same level as in May 2019 and by 13% more compared to the corresponding period of 2020. In addition, Ukrainian railroad workers predict further growth in traffic volumes, in particular, due to the start of the grain transportation season.
Recall that as of May 25, the average daily load was 726 thousand tons, and the turnover of a freight car was 7.14 days.
