Since the beginning of 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia has conducted in the electronic system Prozorro. 43 successful auctions for the sale of scrap ferrous and non-ferrous metals have been sold and generated 1 billion 185 million hryvnias of additional income for the company. This was announced by the acting. Ivan Yurik, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC.
In particular, according to the head of the company, at these online auctions, Ukrzaliznytsia sold ferrous scrap worth over UAH 1.03 billion, non-ferrous metal and alloy scrap - for UAH 151.6 million.
“Ukrzaliznytsia is almost the most active organizer of online trading on Prozorro. Sales. The other day, 12 auctions for the sale of non-ferrous scrap were successfully held. As planned, we sold almost 2 thousand tons of raw materials for 151.6 million hryvnia. The increase in the value of the auction relative to the initial one amounted to 6.65 million hryvnia ", - said Ivan Yurik.
Like it was reported earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia also plans to sell 30.3 thousand of the next batch of ferrous scrap and receive at least an additional 187.5 million hryvnia.
