Viktor Pinchkua's Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has significantly increased the supply of premium pipe to its key consumers in Turkmenistan, having shipped about 1.2 thousand tons of pipe metal products to this Central Asian republic since the beginning of this year. This was reported on Tuesday by the Interpipe press service.
A regular customer of the company, Yugneftegaz, which develops Turkmen oil and gas fields, has purchased 600 tons of casing and tubing with premium UPJ-P threads. Negotiations are underway to place an order for products with UPJ-F sleeveless connection.
In addition, at the beginning of the year, a contract was signed with another client - the state corporation "Turkmengeologia", which in May-July has already supplied more than 600 tons of casing pipes with premium UPJ connection. Another 400 tons are planned to be shipped by the end of 2021.
The company noted that the UPJ series are unique Interpipe solutions for the construction of complex wells with increased requirements for tightness of connections. These solutions have been tested and approved by all of the company's customers. Among them, most of all are ordered in Central Asia, in particular in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.k
