By the beginning of the next academic year, the Ukrainian manufacturer of bus equipment, Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant, according to the terms of the contract, completed production and handed over ten units of buses intended for the transportation of schoolchildren. The batch of buses was not the first, since earlier, school buses ZAZ AO8 whose official distributor is AF Universal Motors Group (a structural subdivision of UkrAVTO Corporation) are already successfully operated in several OTGs in Zaporizhzhya region.
This time, buses that meet the current state standard for this kind of technology entered the schools of the Vasilievsky city council, Priazovsky, Novonikolaevsky village councils, Tokmak city council, Bilmaksky, Rozovsky, Akimovsky village councils and Petro-Mikhailovsky village council. p>
As for the technical component of school buses, the production of which has been successfully established at ZAZ, the ZAZ A08 salon offers 30 seats for students, and 2 seats for accompanying persons are also provided. All passenger seats are equipped with seat belts, and compartments are mounted under each seat to accommodate backpacks and briefcases. Boarding and disembarking is through the front doors, which are pneumatically operated, while the entrance to the bus is equipped with an additional retractable step for the convenience and safety of young schoolchildren.
