Gai (Orenburg region)
On August 23, a city park with an area of 180 thousand square meters was opened in Gai. meters and a new fitness center. The commissioning of facilities became possible thanks to a cooperation agreement between the Government of the Orenburg Region and the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company.
- I am glad to open this wonderful park and sports complex with you today. Residents of Gai know how to work well, which means that all conditions must be created so that they can have good rest, raise children and provide them with the opportunity to go in for sports, - said at the opening ceremony of the acting governor of the Orenburg region Denis Pasler.
- The construction of the FOCA would have been impossible without cooperation with the authorities of the city and the Orenburg region. All this gave such a result, - stressed Andrey Kozitsyn, General Director of UMMC. - The most important thing is that the children in Gaya now have the opportunity to seriously engage in sports in order to strengthen their health. They are the future of our enterprise, which has great prospects. There will be enough interesting work for us and our children and even grandchildren.
The three-storey building of the multifunctional sports and recreation complex measuring 101.45 by 37.4 meters contains halls for practicing volleyball, basketball, mini-football, table tennis, fitness and aerobics, as well as an administrative complex. There are premises for cycling and cross-country skiing departments, a TRP testing center.
Near open sports grounds for basketball, volleyball, streetball and tennis have been built with the complex. There is also a football stadium with artificial turf and a playground for fans of extreme sports: skateboard, rollerblading, workout and parkour. Sports and recreation center is equipped with everything necessary for people with disabilities.
In the new city park you can see alleys, flower beds and flower beds. In total, it is planned to plant 40 thousand seedlings of shrubs and trees (pines, maples, birches, rowan trees, apple trees, etc.) on the territory. In the central part, there is a platform with a stage for cultural events and an open-air auditorium for 500 seats. The main decoration of the park is a programmable light and music fountain.
So that citizens can cross the park in any direction, all the streets around the perimeter (Lenin, Voichenko, Orskaya, Parkovy lane) were connected by alleys and paths, for convenience we provided parking spaces.
- The industrial facilities commissioned today (note - the launch of the shaft of the" Severnaya Ventilatsionnaya 2 "mine and the shaft of the reconstructed mine" Operation ") allow us to keep workers places. But it is important for us to provide people not only with good jobs, but also with decent living conditions. I am sure that a well-maintained city park with a sports and recreation center will undoubtedly become a leisure center for all Gaiskiy residents and guests of our city, - said the director of the Gaiskiy GOK Gennady Stavskiy.
Note that before the start of the construction of the park complex there was a lot of preparatory work has been carried out - drainage and power supply systems have been equipped. The park was equipped with 170 anti-vandal lighting poles with LED lamps and 40 CCTV cameras to ensure security. In general, about 450 million rubles were allocated for the construction of the sports complex and the improvement of the park. The consolidated budget was formed from several sources. The main financial burden was assumed by the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, Gaysky GOK, the Government of the Orenburg Region.
