Metalloinvest became the bronze partner of the 45th WorldSkills Professional Skills Championship, which was held in Kazan from 22 to 27 August.
WorldSkills is one of the the most famous and prestigious blue-collar competition in the world. Its main tasks are to increase the prestige of blue-collar professions and exchange of experience between professionals.
This year, 1,354 young contestants from 63 countries and regions have demonstrated their level of professional training and qualifications, as well as the ability to individually and in a team to complete the task according to the competence they represent: information and communication technologies, production and engineering technologies, construction and construction technologies, services, creativity and design, transport and logistics. A total of 56 competencies were presented.

Metalloinvest signed a partnership agreement with the organizers of the WorldSkills Championship in 2017, as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Championship hosts competitions in 56 competencies in various fields: from carpentry to floristry, from hairdressing to electronics, from body repair to bakery. Participants of the championship are selected at national competitions according to Worldskills standards and are the best in their country.
The Championship also provides an opportunity for industry leaders and educational institutions to exchange information, best practices and professional training.
