On June 9, 2023, the International Mining Forum, the XXXI International Exhibition of Mining Technologies "Coal of Russia and Mining", the XIII specialized exhibition "Occupational Safety and Health", the VIII specialized exhibition "Subsoil of Russia" and the II specialized exhibition "Promtechexpo" were completed in Novokuznetsk.
This year the exhibition "Coal of Russia and Mining" was held under the motto "Wider than Kuzbass! Deeper than Coal!". Companies working in all industries related to the extractive sector of the economy gathered on one platform. Modern solutions for the mining industry were presented by 638 exhibitors from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, China, Turkey, India, Italy, and representative offices of companies from Europe and South Africa.
During the 4 days of the exhibition, 59538 industry professionals from the Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, China, Turkey, the Republic of Peru, Latvia, Mongolia and 117 cities of Russia visited the exhibition.
Manufacturers of equipment, special equipment, tools and accessories, service and mining enterprises, metallurgical plants were represented in more than 30 thematic sections.
So, within the framework of the exposition of the general partner of the exhibition, the Service Plus company, a heavy-duty dump truck SANY SET150S with a lifting capacity of 150 tons was presented.
In addition, manufacturers such as Kopeysky Machine-Building Plant, Ilma Machine-Building Enterprise, Hitachi, Kamozzi Pneumatics, Lukoil, Rosneft, Karpinsky Electric Machine-Building Plant, SUEK, Raspadskaya Coal Company, ZUMLION HEAVY INDUSTRY RUS, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine, Becker Mining Systems RUS, Biysk have traditionally demonstrated a wide range of solutions for the mining industry factory of reinforced concrete products. For the first time, more than 150 companies took part in the event, including KIRAY Chemical, GorHim Techno, GNV Oil, Avtospetsvan, Filtration Technical Company, Vector Company and others.
The business program of the International Mining Forum included 76 events of various subjects. More than 50 experts from leading Russian and foreign companies and over 3,000 delegates took part in scientific and practical conferences, round tables and seminars. The leaders of the industrial market discussed not only the state, but also the prospects of the mining industry: current digital solutions, as well as a set of measures aimed at improving the safety and working conditions of specialists. The discussions were attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Coal Industry of Kuzbass, the Ministry of Labor and Employment of Kuzbass, PJSC Vimpelcom, LLC CHETRA, JSC Atomik Soft and many others.
One of the significant events of the exhibition was the signing by the Government of the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass of cooperation agreements with the ASI Corporation, the BRENT Engineering Company and the world-class Scientific and Educational Center Kuzbass, as well as with LLC B-24 on the construction of the second stage of the BELAZ Technical Support Center in the form of production complex number 2 with an area of 8,700 sq.m. with an investment volume of more than 1.2 billion rubles and the creation of about 100 jobs. The opening of the center will allow local coal miners to simplify the maintenance and repair of heavy quarry equipment.
"Coal of Russia and Mining" has been a traditional meeting place for mining industry leaders for 31 years and a platform where visitors can get acquainted with the full range of equipment and technologies. After all, coal itself is just a raw material base. The main driver of the industry's development are the people who form this industry and contribute to the development of technology, rational use of natural resources, a culture of safe work and the training of young professionals. This year the exhibition was held in an updated format. The platform brought together companies operating in the main industries related to the mining and processing sectors of the economy. The composition and geography of the participants were significantly expanded by manufacturers of the metallurgical, machine-building and metalworking industries, and the exhibition area increased by 30%. The 2023 exhibition brought together both industrial giants and novice manufacturers. The relevance of the project is confirmed by the high interest from the participants – more than 40% of the exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in the 2024 exhibition with an increase in the area of their expositions!" commented Albina Buneeva, Director of Kuzbass Fair LLC.
