Metallurgists of Mechel starred in a television project about men's kitchen

Press Releases
The Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (PJSC ChMK, part of the Mechel Group) became a film set for three days. Filming of the project "Men's Kitchen" in the factory workshops was conducted by the TV channel "Techno 24" of the VGTRK holding.

The hero of the project, a professional chef, gets acquainted with the "kitchen" of the metallurgical plant in the literal and figurative sense. In the shops of the plant: at the rail and structural mill, in the oxygen-converter shop, in the slag processing shop - the protagonist of the program examines the most exciting moments of the production from the inside. He is shown how a white-hot metal is poured, how rails are rolled and tempered, and then cooled in industrial refrigerators. The visitor is interested in giant mills, in which environmentally friendly building material is obtained from production waste - blast furnace slag. What a chef without cooking! In the factory canteen, together with the Chef of Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant, the host of the Men's Kitchen program prepares lunch for metallurgists. It is no coincidence that we chose Chelyabinsk and its largest factory to show the cuisine of men in every sense. When we say "metallurgy", then immediately there is an association with the Urals ", - explained the author of the project Yekaterina Fedotova. The work of the capital's television team took place at the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant for 3 days, in conclusion the guests made a short sketch about Chelyabinsk.
