The initiatives were awarded in four nominations: "Our Victory Story", "New Exposition", "Industrial Route" and "Territorial development".
The museum complex "Severskaya Domna" STZ became the winner of the nomination "Industrial Route" with the project "Metallurgy through the ages: from the iron hammer to the digital plant". The tour, open to a wide audience, includes visits to historical buildings of the 19th century and modern factory workshops, vividly demonstrating the development of metallurgy and immersing guests in the history of the enterprise and the industry. The experts of the competition highly appreciated the tourist potential of the route both at the regional and federal levels.
The PNTZ Museum and Exhibition Center was recognized as the best in the "Development of Territories" nomination. The jury noted the museum's local history character, its focus on the widest possible audience, its active cooperation with the tourist and historical communities, and the organization of cultural and educational events outside the museum space. In addition, the II degree diploma was awarded to the project of modernization of the exhibition space, opened last year for the 90th anniversary of the PNTZ.
The PNTZ Museum also won in the "Our History of Victory" nomination with the "In the Years of Great Trials" project. It includes an exhibition dedicated to the Novotrubnik front-line soldiers and home front workers, and two thematic photo exhibitions "One for all — A Great Victory. The exhibition area covers both the museum space and the territory of the memorial complex "Glory to the Novotrubnik Heroes", which was opened this year after a large-scale reconstruction.
