The corporate museums of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) entered the TOP-15 rating of the National Award "Corporate Museum". The Severskaya Domna Museum Complex, located on the territory of the Seversk Pipe Plant (STZ), a branch of TMK, was awarded the seventh place, and the Museum and Exhibition Center of another branch of the company, Pervouralsky Novotrubny Zavod (PNTZ), entered the rating for the first time and took the 12th place.
The criteria for determining positions in the rating were two indicators: an expert assessment of the professional level of the submitted projects and active participation in the "Corporate Museum" award. The rating is based on the results of seven seasons: from 2018 to 2025.
Built in the middle of the 19th century, the Seversk Blast Furnace is a key object of the museum complex of the same name at the STZ, and in 2025 it celebrated its 165th anniversary. In February last year, the museum complex opened to the general public the route of industrial tourism "Metallurgy through the ages: from the iron hammer to the digital factory", and in May took part in the All-Russian action "Night of Museums" with events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the anniversary of the blast furnace. During the year, five exhibition projects were implemented in the museum, in total it was visited by more than 24 thousand people.
The PNTZ Museum and Exhibition Center (IEC) opened in 2024 after a large-scale reconstruction. In 2025, the center will focus on the development of exhibition and educational activities. In August, PNTZ launched an industrial tourist route for everyone "The pipe is calling!", which begins with a visit to the IEC. In May, the center took part in the All-Russian action "Night of Museums", where it presented projects dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In addition, the museum became a participant in the exhibition project "Ural: Homeland shield and Sword", which was held at the residence of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region. During the year, the PNTZ IEC was visited by more than 10 thousand guests.
"TMK's corporate museums play an important role in the development of industrial tourism and the cultural environment in the regions where the company operates. The Severskaya Domna Museum Complex and the PNTZ Museum and Exhibition Center combine the preservation of industrial heritage with modern educational and tourist formats. The high positions in the rating of the National Award "Corporate Museum" confirm the importance of TMK's systematic work on the development of corporate museums for a wide audience. We are grateful to the expert community for this assessment," said Anna Trepalova, Head of TMK's Industrial tourism department.
In total, the TOP 30 best corporate museums out of 240 applicants entered the TOP National Award "Corporate Museum". In 2025, the Severskaya Domna Museum became the winner of the National Award "Corporate Museum" in the nomination
