Employees of TMK enterprises received the title of "Engineer of the Year — 2025"

Employees of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) became laureates and prize—winners of the XXVI All-Russian competition "Engineer of the Year - 2025". 16 employees of TMK's branches — Pervouralsky Novotrubny (PNTZ), Seversky Trubny (STZ), Sinarsky Trubny (SinTZ), Taganrog Metallurgical (TAGMET) plants and TMK Pipeline Solutions (TMK TR), as well as TMK Technical Service (TMK Techservice) companies won the corresponding awards.

The competition is held in the versions "Professional engineers" for participants with at least 5 years of experience in engineering positions and "Engineering art of the young" for young professionals under the age of 30 inclusive. Eight specialists became the winners of the first qualifying round of the "Professional Engineers" version, and five employees became laureates following the results of the second round. In the "Engineering Art of the Young" version, two employees were awarded diplomas after passing the first round, and one employee received the medal of the laureate at the end of the second round.

The jury recognized the achievements of TMK specialists in improving the efficiency and optimization of production processes, their contribution to digitalization, resource-saving initiatives, as well as innovative solutions to improve the performance of pipe products. Among the highlighted projects: the introduction of artificial intelligence and computer simulation of the production process, reuse of industrial waste as sources of raw materials, improvement of heat treatment of pipes, improvement of rolling technology and others.

"TMK has been acting as a forge of engineering personnel for many years. The company has created a developing environment that promotes professional growth and self—realization of employees - from the institute of mentoring to the courses of the TMK2U Corporate University and educational programs developed by us together with partner educational institutions. Talented employees demonstrate their competencies not only in solving standard production tasks, but also implement their own constructive ideas. There is a wide range of tools available for the development and implementation of such initiatives, including the Youth Scientific and Practical Conference and the Horizons corporate forum. This approach additionally motivates colleagues and enhances the company's competitive advantages," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Human Resources Management.

The annual All-Russian competition "Engineer of the Year" has been held by the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Public Associations since 2001. The winners of the first round according to the "Engineering art of the young" are awarded with a diploma, according to the "Professional engineers" — with a certificate of the same name
