The volunteers cleared the territory of the park from garbage and last year's foliage, scattered snow drifts left over from the winter, whitewashed the trees. Together, we collected more than 200 bags of garbage.
The plant workers painted the fence of the park, the benches installed in it and decorative cast-iron urns in the form of cannons, embodying the succession of generations, the sculpture of a veteran metallurgist with his grandson.
"Square of Metallurgists" was built in 2015-2017 on the initiative and with the financial support of the Izhstal deputies. The sculptural composition, the entrance arch, the fence, the urns and the benches were made by the specialists of the foundry of the plant. Today the park is one of the favorite places for family recreation for residents of the Metallurgists' microdistrict. It hosts massive city, regional and factory events. School No. 70 conducts the last calls and lines in the park.
