OJSC “BMZ” - the management company of the “BMK” holding this year provided the first jobs for 122 young specialists - graduates of higher, secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions. On September 11, solemn events will be organized for them at the enterprise, including an initiation ceremony into the ranks of metallurgists.
The Belarusian Metallurgical Plant, being the largest employer in the region of its presence, annually employs about two hundred young specialists. Over the past 5 years alone, more than 1200 of them were accepted at the enterprise. The main forge of factory personnel is the Gomel State Technical University named after P.O.Sukhoi, Belarusian State Technological University and its branch "Zhlobin State Metallurgical College ". This year, among the newly minted metallurgists are graduates of 15 higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the country. Among them are representatives of technical and rather narrow specialties common at the plant. For example, rail transport logistics and innovative technologies in metallurgy.
& bsp; & bsp; A solemn meeting, a meeting with the management, the traditional signing of the "Golden Contract", a tour of the enterprise, seminars, various team trainings and a youth disco await within the framework of the Day of Young Metallurgists.
& bsp; & bsp; It should be noted that BMZ strives not only to give young specialists the opportunity to work in a modern company, but to create all conditions for them for professional and personal self-realization. So, to facilitate adaptation, a mentoring system operates, which implies the assignment of newly hired workers to experienced employees. The plant has a council of young specialists and the primary organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, which hold various events: the annual International Scientific and Technical Conference “Metal”, tourist rallies and sports, intellectual games, etc. Meetings with the company's management are also regularly organized for young people, within the framework of which there is an opportunity to directly talk about any problems or make suggestions for improving the work. By the way, at present BMZ employs almost 3,000 employees under the age of 31, which is more than a quarter of the total headcount.
