Siberia-Polymetals JSC is implementing an investment project for the reconstruction of the Rubtsovskaya concentrating plant. The total investment is over five billion rubles. As part of the reconstruction, it is planned to build 18 objects. The launch of the concentrating complex is scheduled for the second half of 2022, which will increase the reliability of the redistribution with the introduction of a new ore processing technology and will allow reaching the strategic goal of processing ore in the amount of 1.5 million tons per year.
- Currently the metal structures of the frame of the main building of the Rubtsovskaya concentrating plant are being installed, which will concentrate the main technological process for grinding and enriching ore, - says Igor Avdeev, Construction Director of Siberia-Polymetals JSC. - In parallel, the construction of a stand-alone thickener designed for concentrate dewatering, as well as a receiving hopper and a reagent building is underway. In addition, ore supply galleries, storm water treatment and utility sewerage stations, transformer substations and engineering overpasses will be built.
Funding for the reconstruction of the ROF is carried out with the support of VEB.RF and Sberbank PJSC within the framework of the VEB Project Financing Factory .РФ, - explained Evgeny Ponomarev, Deputy Financial Director of OJSC UMMC. - The syndicated loan agreement was signed on December 25, 2020, and now the active phase of the implementation of a large investment project “Construction of the Korbalikhinsky polymetallic mine and reconstruction of the Rubtsovskaya concentrating plant in order to increase productivity up to 1.5 million tons of ore per year” is underway.
Enrichment of ore will be carried out using modern technological equipment. The technological process based on the use of selectively acting reagents will make it possible to extract metals at a higher level.
Thanks to the commissioning of new capacities, the Rubtsovskaya Concentrating Plant will increase the production of zinc concentrate to 200 thousand tons per year. This will increase production by more than 2.5 times.
