PJSC Severstal announces the list of winners of the Competition for distance and online training of the grant program "Museums of the Russian North." and is focused on updating the historical and cultural heritage of the Russian North, identifying the best project initiatives of regional museums, improving the professional skills of museum workers. The program is carried out in 12 regions: the republics of Karelia and Komi, Perm Territory, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kirov, Kostroma, Leningrad, Murmansk, Novgorod and Pskov regions, Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
Competition for distance and online learning for additional professional programs was carried out in one stage. Participants applied for advanced training programs, professional retraining and the development of professional competencies corresponding to the nature of the activities, goals and priorities of the organization they represent.
Employees of state, municipal museums and art galleries, as well as employees of other specialized museums were invited to participate. groups with art collections from the regions of the program participants.
Applications closed on August 25, 2021.
A total of 54 applications from 24 museums and 10 regions were submitted for the competition. 48 applications were selected according to formal criteria, each of which was evaluated by experts. The winners of the competition were determined by the Expert Council of the "Museums of the Russian North" program.
The winners were 30 applications from 19 museums from 8 regions: Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kostroma, Murmansk, Novgorod, Pskov regions, the republics of Karelia and Komi. Each winner will receive an individual grant and the opportunity to undergo training according to the chosen program in the period from October 01 to December 31, 2021. The competition is held , including with the support of the Sveza company and the travel company TUI Russia (part of the Severgroup).
The operator of the program is the Trajectory Foundation for Support of Scientific, Educational and Cultural Initiatives with the participation of the project team of the GratRaftig Social Innovation Management Center.
