In March 2022, the production and sales of commercial vehicles in China reached a record high. This was reported by the China Automobile Industry Association.
According to the association, in the reporting period, the Chinese auto industry produced 579,000 vehicles for commercial use, up 55.2% compared to the same period last year (APPG). Sales of such cars increased by 68.1%, reaching 651 thousand units.
According to the results of the first quarter of this year, the total production of commercial vehicles in the country exceeded 1.39 million units, an increase of 76.9% year on year and 26.1% compared to the APPG. At the same time, more than 1.4 million vehicles of this category were sold in the country, which is 77.3% more than last year and 26.9% more than in 2019.
