At the world exhibition "Expo-2020", which takes place in Dubai (UAE), business negotiations were held between representatives of Belarusian enterprises, including the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant (BMZ), and business circles of the UAE and other countries.
According to the press service of the BMZ, as a result of negotiations, the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant signed several contracts for the supply of its products worth more than $100 million.
Recall that the Republic of Belarus has been under Western sanctions since last year. The Belarusian Metallurgical Plant was not subject to sanctions due to the demand for its steel products on the world market.
JSC "BMZ" - the management company of the "BMK" holding - is a high-tech enterprise in the metallurgical industry. Structurally, it consists of steel-smelting, rolling, pipe, hardware production and infrastructure workshops connected by one technological chain. Every year, more than 80% of the products manufactured by BMZ are exported.
