The 6th International Exhibition of Machines, Equipment and Technologies for the Mining, Coal and Construction Industry MiningWorld Ukraine-2021 has opened its doors in Zaporozhye. The head of the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine Roman Opimakh, First Deputy Chairman of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration Volodymyr Shustov and representatives of the industry business made a welcoming speech to the exhibitors and visitors of the event.
The exhibition brought together over 55,000 participants from Ukraine, Europe, North America and Asia. Foreign representatives include guests from the USA, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Turkey, China. These are leading foreign and national companies that presented their latest developments in equipment, special equipment and technologies.
The exhibition was attended by heads of Ukrainian enterprises, top managers of mining, metallurgical and mining companies.
“Attracting the world's leading practices and introducing the latest technologies into the extractive industry are important factors on the way to efficient use of mineral resources. Technologies are being improved, new advanced equipment appears for conducting exploration and production works, which Ukrainian business needs so much to keep up with the times and be competitive in the market. MiningWorld Ukraine-2021 is the event that contributes to the convergence of Ukrainian subsoil use with world standards and standards in terms of technical solutions and equipment ", - said the Chairman of the State Geological Survey.
Roman Opimakh got acquainted with the exhibits: mining engineering, quarry and special equipment, machinery and equipment for the movement and transportation of minerals, technologies for water and air purification, etc., and also took part in the Round Table, which was held as part of the exhibition ... During live communication with business representatives and journalists, he answered a number of questions and got acquainted with the trends of the modern market. Among other things, we discussed legal norms for doing business and updating the rules within the framework of writing the Code of Ukraine on Subsoil.
Let us remind you that the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Improvement of Legislation in the Field of Subsoil Use" (No. 4187) was adopted in the first reading. The initiative was developed with the aim of modernizing the regulation of the industry, making subsoil use an investment-attractive sphere, and the rules of the game clear and predictable. The document is now being prepared for a second reading.
