Modern equipment was launched at the new site — two tricanter pumps, pumping units with frequency converters, pipelines for pumping the product and a storage tank. Now the resin is cleaned of impurities, which improves product quality. The company has invested about 1 billion rubles in the project.
The decontamination plant is one of the sites within the framework of the technical re—equipment of installations for the production of electrode pitch. The project completion date is 2026. It involves the closure of obsolete coke oven batteries and the transition to a fundamentally new environmentally friendly technological chain with a capacity of up to 60 thousand tons per year.
As a result, the plant will receive new marketable products: bakeries of different brands, in accordance with consumer requests. The technical re-equipment will reduce the release of specific CCP substances by another 140.7 tons per year, increase occupational safety and improve the working conditions of employees.
