According to preliminary data of the Ukrmetallurgprom association, steel production in Ukraine for 11 months of 2021 increased by 5% to 19.64 million tons. Pig iron production in the reporting period increased by 4.6% year on year to 19.44 million tons, and production of finished rolled metal - by 5% to 17.55 million tons.
In October, steel production in Ukraine, according to the World Steel Association, grew by 5.5%, pig iron production - by 5%, which means a slight slowdown in growth compared to last year. According to Ukrmetallurgprom, in January-October 2021, finished steel production grew 5.4% compared to the same period in 2020.
