The research department of the state enterprise "Zarya" - "Mashproekt" is creating a specialized test bench that will be involved in the implementation of the enterprise's program for the development of hydrogen technologies.
The stand is necessary to ensure the creation of a combustion chamber for gas turbine engines operating on gas-hydrogen and pure hydrogen fuel. It is planned to complete work on the creation of the stand in the 4th quarter of 2022, and to create a working sample of the combustion chamber in 2023.
Currently, Energotekhprom LLC is working on the design of the stand. Work on the construction of the stand will begin in February 2022 after the approval of the project.
SE "Zarya" - "Mashproekt" already has experience and experience in using gas-hydrogen fuel for a gas turbine engine in the energy industry. Today, the hydrogen direction is one of the key in the research work of the enterprise.
