In 2021, Energomashspetsstal PJSC shipped more than 18,000 tons of products of various types to customers. As in 2020, the main supplies of the goods were carried out for export.
70 companies from 17 countries of the world became the buyers of the products of PJSC "EMSS" in the past year. The geography of supplies covers the countries of near and far abroad, such as the USA, India, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Germany, Finland, Mexico and others.
Last year, EMSS products were shipped to the largest metallurgical, energy and mechanical engineering companies such as ArcelorMittal, General Electric, BHEL, ThyssenKrupp, Outokumpu, Voestalpine and others. Back-up and work rolls, discs, shanks, columns, hammer, rotor and other products were shipped to foreign markets. The largest products manufactured at EMSS in 2021 were two backup rolls of 207 tons each. The length of one roll was 11 m, the length of the barrel was 4.9 m, its diameter was 2.25 m. Each roll was made from an ingot weighing 415 tons.
Most of the products were manufactured for foreign nuclear power plants under construction located in Turkey, India and China. Large-tonnage shells, bottoms, spheres, flanges, pipes of various diameters, branch pipes and other products for NPP reactor equipment were sent to customers. Among the products manufactured for the nuclear industry, it should be noted that a shell with a mass of 125 tons, unique in its dimensions, is intended for the production of the reactor pressure vessel of Unit 3 of the Akkuyu NPP. The shell height is 5 meters, the diameter is 4.7 m, the wall thickness is more than 20 cm. The large-sized billet is made of 415 ton ingot and forged on an automated forging complex 15,000 tf.
Some of the products shipped in 2021 were sent to metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine, such as MK Azovstal, Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, Zaporizhstal, Furlander Windtechnology LLC, Pobuzhsky Ferronickel Plant LLC, DTEK and others. Back-up and work rolls, pinion shafts, journals, slag-carrying bowls and other products of various industries were manufactured for Ukrainian customers.
