Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod (NKMZ) has manufactured the second upgraded coarse cone crusher with hydraulic gap adjustment model KKD1500x180 GRSHCH-M for Ferrexpo's Poltava GOK.
The first one was put into operation last summer and proved to be the best. As a result of the improved design of this crusher, its productivity was 5.5 thousand tons per hour, which is 1.5 times higher than before the modernization.
NKMZ has already produced cone crushers of this size, but only with standard capacity.
The higher performance of the new modernized crusher, while maintaining the same overall dimensions, is ensured as a result of structural changes to the standard model - increasing the power of the drives and improving the units that crush the material.
Like the first crusher, it will replace its dismantled, worn-out predecessor on existing foundations.
