Since 2005, Smart-holding Vadim Novinsky is developing the shipbuilding direction, presented "Smart Maritime group" (Smart Maritime Group, SMG). Part of the "Smart Maritime group" includes Kherson and Mykolaiv shipyards, which occupy a significant place in the shipbuilding industry in Ukraine and the Azov-black sea region. This week the Kherson shipyard "Smart Maritime group" was visited by a representative of the Dutch company VEKA Shipbuilding B. V. WT High Spaargaren.

"My goal is to control the quality of work performed. I was pleased with what I saw today," he said in an interview.

Answering a question about what you'll be working with shipyards in other countries from the Ukrainian, Spaargaren noted that the Ukrainians are consolidated, friendly and promptly respond to the comments from the customer.

"In Ukraine, I come about once a month, while Polish shipyard went, at least once in two weeks. The whole process had to be monitored much more carefully. In Poland we had 10 identical projects. So in 9 out of the 10 they made the same mistakes. Of course, from errors nobody is insured, neither in Ukraine nor in Poland nor in China. But if you say, "Change this and this" - Ukrainians take and change. In China you say, "Adjust", they say "OK" and nothing changes ... For the Chinese it is normal to put on the land more people, but the progress and quality will be the same as in Ukraine, with a smaller number of active workers", – said Spaargaren.

the Production capacity of "Smart Maritime group" allow to build medium-duty complete vessels and perform ship-repair work. Customers factories are companies from the Netherlands, Norway, the UK and other countries.

Strategy "Smart Maritime group" in the medium term is aimed at strengthening the position in the niche of medium-tonnage fully complete shipbuilding in the markets of Europe and the Baltic States.
